Day 1 – Alcúdia Old Town & Bay Views 🏰
🌅 Morning
Start in Alcúdia’s Old Town, where cobbled lanes weave between honey-coloured stone houses.

Walk the medieval city walls for a bird’s-eye view, then wander through the lively Tuesday or Sunday market if your trip lines up.
🍽️ Lunch
Grab a table at Ca’n Costa for tapas with a local twist, or head to a sunny café on Plaça de la Constitució.

⛵️Afternoon
Stroll down to Port d’Alcúdia, a relaxed marina lined with palm trees and plenty of seaside cafés. There are some really nice restaurants right on the rocks – great for a drink with a view.
Walk the promenade or rent a bike for an easy ride along the bay.

🌆 Evening
Dine by the water at Miramar Restaurant (which specialises in paella, tapas and Mediterranean seafood dishes) before catching a glowing sunset over the harbour.
🏨 Where to Stay
For comfort and convenience, try Hotel Can Tem (boutique charm inside the Old Town) or Eix Alcudia Hotel (mid-range, close to the beach).
Day 2 – Beaches & Nature 🏝️
🏖️ Morning
Pack your swimsuit and head to Playa de Muro, famous for its soft white sand and calm turquoise shallows. It’s ideal for solo travellers – safe, walkable, and with plenty of beachside cafés.

🍽️ Lunch
Enjoy fresh seafood at Can Gavella, a beachside restaurant with rustic charm.

🌿Afternoon
Venture to S’Albufera Natural Park, a peaceful wetland filled with birdlife and walking trails. Bring water and binoculars if you love spotting wildlife.

Final Thoughts ✨
Alcúdia always strikes me as the kind of place where you can slow down without ever feeling bored. I love the contrast: mornings wandering the medieval streets, lazy afternoons at the beach, and then that jaw-dropping Formentor coastline to round it all off.
S’Albufera surprised me most. It feels like a hidden world of reeds and bird calls just minutes from the bustle of town.
For me, Alcúdia is the right mix of safe, scenic, and full of small discoveries that make you want to stay longer.
